Kent. When Lear is mad, what wouldest thou do old man?
Kent. Think'st thou that dutie shall haue dread to speake,
Kent. When power to flattery bowes?
Kent. To plainnesse honour's bound,
Kent. When Maiesty falls to folly, reserue thy state,
Kent. And in thy best consideration checke
Kent. This hideous rashnesse, answere my life, myiudgement:
Kent. Thy yongest Daughter do's not loue thee least,
Kent. Nor are those empty hearted, whose low sounds
Kent. Reuerbe no hollownesse.
Lear. Lear.
Lear. Kent, on thy life no more.
Kent. Kent.
Kent. My life I neuer held but as pawne
Kent. To wage against thine enemies, nere feare to loose it,
Kent. Thy safety being motiue.
Lear. Out of my sight.
