Berowne. Berowne.
Berowne. I can but say their protestation ouer,
Berowne. So much, deare Liege, I haue already sworne,
Berowne. That is, to liue and study heere three yeeres.
Berowne. But there are other strict obseruances:
Berowne. As not to see a woman in that terme,
Berowne. Which I hope well is not enrolled there.
Berowne. And one day in a weeke to touch no foode:
Berowne. And but one meale on euery day beside:
Berowne. The which I hope is not enrolled there.
Berowne. And then to sleepe but three houres in the night,
Berowne. And not be seene to winke of all the day.
Berowne. When I was wont to thinke no harme all night,
Berowne. And make a darke night too of halfe the day:
Berowne. O, these are barren taskes, too hard to keepe,
Berowne. Not to see Ladies, study, fast, not sleepe.
