Lear. Heare Nature, heare deere Goddesse, heare:
Lear. Suspend thy purpose, if thou did'st intend
Lear. To make this Creature fruitfull:
Lear. Into her Wombe conuey stirrility,
Lear. Drie vp in her the Organs of increase,
Lear. And from her derogate body, neuer spring
Lear. A Babe to honor her. If she must teeme,
Lear. Create her childe of Spleene, that it may lieu
Lear. And be a thwart disnature'd torment to her.
Lear. Let it stampe wrinkles in her brow of youth,
Lear. With cadent Teares fret Channels in her cheekes,
Lear. Turne all her Mothers paines, and benefits
Lear. To laughter, and contempt: That she may feele,
Lear. How sharper then a Serpents tooth it is,
Lear. To haue a thanklesse Childe. Away, away.
Lear. Exit.
