Ber. On a day, alack the day:
Ber. Loue, whose Month is euery May,
Ber. Spied a blossome passing faire,
Ber. Playing in the wanton ayre:
Ber. Through the Veluet, leaues the winde,
Ber. All vnseene, can passage finde.
Ber. That the Louer sicke to death,
Ber. Wish himselfe the heauens breath.
Ber. Ayre (quoth he) thy cheekes may blowe,
Ber. Ayre, would I might triumph so.
Ber. But alacke my hand is sworne,
Ber. Nere to plucke thee from thy throne:
Ber. Vow alacke for youth vnmeete,
Ber. Youth so apt to plucke a sweet.
Ber. Doe not call it sinne in me,
Ber. That I am forsworne for thee.
