Tam. I should be Authour to dishonour you.
Tam. But on mine honour dare, I vndertake
Tam. For good Lord Titus innocence in all:
Tam. Whose fury not dissembled speakes his griefes:
Tam. Then at my sute looke graciously on him,
Tam. Loose not so noble a friend on vaine suppose,
Tam. Nor with sowre lookes afflict his gentle heart.
Tam. My Lord, be rul'd by me, be wonne at last,
Tam. Dissemble all your griefes and discontents,
Tam. You are but newly planted in your Throne,
Tam. Least then the people, and Patricians too,
Tam. Vpon a iust suruey take Titus part,
Tam. And so supplant vs for ingratitude,
Tam. Which Rome reputes to be a hainous sinne.
Tam. Yeeld at intreats, and then let me alone:
Tam. Ile finde a day to massacre them all,
Tam. And race their faction, and their familie,
Tam. The cruell Father, and his trayt'rous sonnes,
Tam. To whom I sued for my deare sonnes life.
Tam. And make them know what 'tis to let a Queene.
