Bass. The world is still deceiu'd with ornament.
Bass. In Law, what Plea so tanted and corrupt,
Bass. But being season'd with a gracious voice,
Bass. Obscures the show of euill? In Religion,
Bass. What damned error, but some sober brow
Bass. Will blesse it, and approue it with a text,
Bass. Hiding the grosenesse with faire ornament:
Bass. There is no voice so simple, but assumes
Bass. Some marke of vertue on his outward parts;
Bass. How manie cowards, whose hearts are all as false
Bass. As stayers of sand, weare yet vpon their chins
Bass. The beards of Hercules and frowning Mars,
Bass. Who inward searcht, haue lyuers white as milke,
Bass. And these assume but valors excrement,
Bass. To render them redoubted. Looke on beautie,
Bass. And you shall see 'tis purchast by the weight,
Bass. Which therein workes a miracle in nature,
Bass. Making them lightest that weare most of it:
Bass. So are those crisped snakie golden locks
