An. And Brutus is an Honourable man.
An. He hath brought many Captiues home to Rome,
An. Whose Ransomes, did the generall Coffers fill:
An. Did this in Cæsar seeme Ambitious?
An. When that the poore haue cry'de, Cæsar hath wept:
An. Ambition should be made of sterner stuffe,
An. Yet Brutus sayes, he was Ambitious:
An. You all did see, that on the Lupercall,
An. I thrice presented him a Kingly Crowne,
An. Which he did thrice refuse. Was this Ambition?
An. And sure he is an Honourable man.
An. I speake not to disprooue what Brutus spoke,
An. But heere I am, to speake what I do know;
An. You all did loue him once, not without cause,
An. What cause with‑holds you then, to mourne for him?
An. O Iudgement! thou are fled to brutish Beasts,
An. And Men haue lost their Reason. Beare with me,
An. My heart is in the Coffin there with Cæsar,
